Our Story

At Creative Soul Food Kitchen, every dish is crafted with love and a whole lot of soul. At the heart of Creative Soul Food Kitchen is Chef Jones, who embarked on his culinary journey at just seven years old with a simple, unforgettable meal that ignited his passion for cooking and feeding others. Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Chef Jones's love for soul food developed as he did, nurtured by family gatherings and community celebrations that brought joy and nourishment.

After formal culinary training and extensive experience in high-end restaurants as both a sous chef and head chef, Chef Jones returned to his roots in soul food. Now, he serves comforting, flavorful dishes to make you smile.
